Demographics

Champlain Trail P.S. was built in 1990, and opened with 462 students. At our enrolment peak, we had 708 students in 2000-01, but over the last several years, the school has experienced a small population decline. 

The majority of students that attend Champlain Trail were born in Canada (69%).   Of students born outside of Canada, India, Pakistan, and China represent our largest demographic, respectively. 

In total, we have students who were born in 24 countries and speak 21 different languages at home, making us one of the most culturally diverse schools in the Board.
